Overnight Oats

Some days, we just don’t have time to make something healthy to eat.  This episode features Overnight oats, a delicious recipe that you can prepare in advance and eat on the go.

INGREDIENTS:
For Oat Mixture:
1/3 cup Quaker Rolled Oats
1/3 – 1/2 cup  low or non-fat milk
1/3 cup Greek yogurt
1/2 banana, mashed
1/2 Tbsp. chia seeds
1 tsp. honey
a pinch of salt
a pinch of cinnamon

For Quick Variations:
½ cup strawberries
¼ cup berries, frozen 


PROCEDURE:
For Oat Mixture:
Combine all the ingredients in a jar and leave overnight in a refrigerator.

For a Quick Variation:
Cook ½ cup of strawberries with a little water to make a quick jam.
OR puree frozen berries in a blender with Greek yogurt.
Add in mix of dried and fresh mangoes.
