Juicy Jumbo Burger

This is exactly what you need to try for your Dinner tonight. Or this could be for your lunch. Who needs a time anyway?



  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • ½ cup Quaker Quick Cooking or Old Fashioned Oats, uncooked
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • ½ cup tomato sauce, salsa or BBQ sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. onion, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsps. prepared mustard Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 6 Hamburger buns


1 In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients except the buns.
2 Mix the ingredients lightly but thoroughly and shape the meat into six - 3 inch patties.
3 Broil or grill the patties in an oven for 4 – 6 minutes on each side at 160ºF, or until the center of each patty is not pink anymore.
4 Serve each patty in a hamburger bun.
